Specialty Camp
We realize that our 12-15 year old campers like to challenge themselves, take risks, and learn new things. Our specialty camp sessions allow for our tween campers to spend more time mastering a specific activity by taking their choice of any of the classes that we offer at Pine Springs Ranch.
At camp we have all the gear, teachers, and lessons ready for your child to try a whole bunch of new things. Who knows? Your child might discover a new interest or even a new skill or aptitude they never knew they had!
Tween Sessions I - II
If your camper already has a passion for a camp activity or wants to learn more about it, then they will enjoy this opportunity. Campers spend every morning in their selected class and then get to try out a few more camp activities in the afternoon. Make sure to check your activity confirmation (in your confirmation) to see if you can bring your own gear with you.
Session Requirements?
You don't have to be a veteran camper to attend a specialty camp. Most campers and families come to PSR when it's convenient for their child, friends, and family members to be there together.
Tween sessions require a $60 non-refundable deposit upon registration and spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
During the registration process on ULTRACAMP, please let us know your child is attending camp with any friends or family members so we can place everyone in the same cabin together.

*Cabins of 8 or 9 are available if all of the children in the cabin request to be together. Please call us for more information about "DREAM" cabins.

*Warning: some of the friendships that start at camp during our tween sessions last for years since these campers have more access to the internet & social media.

Great Counselors Make A DifferenceOur hiring team carefully selects each individual who joins our camp staff family each season through a rigorous application process that involves an interview, references from trusted community members, and a background check. We're very proud of our track record selecting great counselors to undergo our employee training, which gives us an opportunity to observe all of our freshman staff before any guests arrive at camp. If you'd like to join our team please visit our application page! |
I think the helpers did a wonderful job making you feel like family. Their worships/skits were a lot of fun. You can tell they enjoyed it. Having my child be able to make new friends and learn some independence is great. |
