PSR Camp: Rotations

PSR Camp divides the rotation/class schedule into 4 one hour activity periods per day. With so much to do, campers enjoy a variety of activities that are sure to leave lasting memories. All of the activities are offered with the intent to increase the participation level and enjoyment for all of our campers. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

Archery

Campers will learn about bows, arrows, and the rules of the range. Take aim and practice hitting a variety of targets. There will never be a shortage of fun and challenge to this activity.

Arts & Crafts

PSR Camp offers a few different crafts to make during our activity periods like lanyard braiding, animal masks, painting, paper bag puppets, etc. Each is simple and fun to create!

Basketball

One of our more popular activities, this activity features basic instruction, team building, practice games, and plenty of fun.
We can't wait to play a pick-up game with you!

Drama Games

At PSR Camp we meet campers who are shy and others who are very outgoing. Drama games is a fun way for children to act silly and develop some interpersonal skills. Not to mention, you can watch your child shine on stage. It's one of our most popular rotations!

Go Kart Rides

This fun activity will get your heart racing! With an instructor driving, you'll be sure to have fun making laps around our Go Kart course.

Horseback Riding

Making a 9 year return to PSR this year, we are now offering horseback riding to our campers! As an old camp favorite, you will get to meet the horses, help with basic care, and do what this activity says: ride horses!

Nature

At PSR Camp we're surrounded by nature, and the Berglund Nature Center is where we have all of our displays about the animals and life all around us. Your camper might learn something new during this rotation.

Outdoor Adventure

Also known as 'Trailmasters,' this activity is a subsection of our Obstacle Course department. Enjoy the fresh air and hike across the open landscape in group hikes with another family. Believe us when we say, PSR has amazing mountain views.

Obstacle Course

How quickly can you navigate the PSR Camp obstacle course? It's a simple, outdoor course that our counselors set up every day to challenge our campers in a game of outdoor athletics. Campers will have the opportunity to add their name to the leaderboard during this rotation.

Photography

Use your creative eye to capture fun photos. Campers will learn the basics of photography and will be able to put their skills to the test. This class usually fills up fast, so register soon!

Skateboarding

Discover a new skill or fulfill your need for speed in our Skateboarding rotation. For our new riders, our instructors will help you learn the basics of riding on wheels. We also have ramps for you to try out.

Soccer

If soccer (or football) is your life, then this is the activity where you belong. We play games together, but we also practice the fundamentals of game in order to increase teamwork and skills. There will be plenty of space and plenty of fun in this activity!
Picture

Swimming

Come join us at the pool for a session of swimming, tanning, and fun this summer. This is our most relaxed and unstructured activities at camp, so feel free to sign-up and hang out with us. We might play some games and team sports, or we might just chill.

Team Building & Challenge Experience

Working together as a team is a skill that can be learned. We encourage our campers to try this low ropes and team-building activity.
