A Week of New Adventures
Our discovery camp sessions at Pine Springs Ranch are designed for children ages 8-11 who are ready to join for an entire session at the Ranch. Children who come to camp for a full week will have the opportunity to try a wider variety of activities, learn more about what they can do, socialize with other children in their age group, and spend time getting to know their Creator while under the supervision of a wonderful camp counselor.
Parents and guardians are still the best judges of when their child(ren) are ready to practice independence and decision-making skills in an environment like Pine Springs Ranch.
Discovery sessions require a $60 non-refundable deposit upon registration and spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
During the registration process on ULTRACAMP, please let us know your child is attending camp with any friends or family members so we can place everyone in the same cabin together.

Smaller cabin units contribute to improved social bonding, increased counselor interactions, & the overall camp experience.

Being in the same cabin as a friend or family member can help first-time campers be even more successful at camp.

Discovery session activities are simple, easy, and as safe as possible. Our goals are for children to try lots of different activities to discover new talents & abilities.

Great Counselors Make A DifferenceOur hiring team carefully selects each individual who joins our camp staff family each season through a rigorous application process that involves an interview, references from trusted community members, and a background check. We're very proud of our track record selecting great counselors to undergo our employee training, which gives us an opportunity to observe all of our freshman staff before any guests arrive at camp. If you'd like to join our team please visit our application page! |
[Camp] taught my child some responsibility and independence. I was so impressed that he wasn’t sunburned and when there was a medical issue they handled it professionally. [My son] came back more mature than when we had left him and he was only there for a week, very impressive. The counselor service, attitude, disposition and care goes above and beyond. |
4 Habits of Successful Campers
Children who can reasonably demonstrate these four habits are ready to go to summer camp!
Campers should be able to feed, clothe, toilet, and bathe themselves without assistance.
|
Campers should be able to build a 'colorful plate' at mealtimes that include healthy non-allergens.
|
Campers should be able to follow all safety rules and instructions provided by counselors & staff.
|
Campers should be able to respect others & feel comfortable talking about their well-being.
