July SUPER SessionTween Camp: Week 3
Session starts at 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 5th, 2020 Session ends at 9:30 am on Sunday, July 12th, 2020 The week of July 5-12 is our first and only "SUPER" session of the season and our first session (2020) of traditional camp for tweens. Campers are housed based on age (7-15), parent preference, & the price is the same no matter when you register. This is the perfect session if it's your first time staying with us at PSR Camp! WHY OFFER A SUPER SESSION? Parents and families are looking for more flexibility in their summer schedules in order to accommodate VBS, vacations, sport leagues, day camps, and other activities. Our "SUPER" session will allow children ages 7-15 to be at camp during the same week, but in completely separate cabins, activities, and program/cafeteria seating. We're also experimenting with "no pressure" pricing that stays the same regardless of when you register. Traditional Camp or Specialty Camp?
Depending on when you're planning to attend, you can choose from a traditional summer camp experience or a specialty camp. The biggest difference? Our traditional tween sessions are geared towards first-time campers while our specialty sessions are for tweens and teens who want to spend more time mastering a specific activity that we offer at Pine Springs Ranch.
Traditional Session: July SUPER session & Week 6: Tween Camp
If your child is new to camp and wants to try a lot of different and fun camp activities, then the July SUPER session and our Week 6: Tween Camp are the best options. Parents can sometimes spend hundreds of dollars on lessons, coaching, gear, and uniforms for hobbies or interests that are children might give up on after only a few weeks.
At camp we have all the gear, teachers, and lessons ready for your child to try a whole bunch of new things. Who knows? Your child might discover a new interest or even a new skill or aptitude they never knew they had!
Tween Specialty Sessions I & II
If you camper already has a passion for a camp activity or wants to learn more about it, then a specialty session is what you're looking for. Campers spend every morning in their selected class and then get to try out a few more camp activities in the afternoon. Make sure to check your activity confirmation (in your confirmation) to see if you can bring your own gear with you.
Session Requirements?
You don't have to be a first-time camper to attend traditional camp and you don't have to be a veteran camper to attend a specialty camp. Most campers and families come to PSR when it's convenient for their child, friends, and family members to be there together.
Tween sessions require a $60 non-refundable deposit upon registration and spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. When you register before April 30th you'll get our best price of the season.
During the registration process on ULTRACAMP, please let us know your child is attending camp with any friends or family members so we can place everyone in the same cabin together.

Great Counselors Make A DifferenceOur hiring team carefully selects each individual who joins our camp staff family each season through a rigorous application process that involves an interview, references from trusted community members, and a background check. We're very proud of our track record selecting great counselors to undergo our employee training, which gives us an opportunity to observe all of our freshman staff before any guests arrive at camp. If you'd like to join our team please visit our application page! |
I think the helpers did a wonderful job making you feel like family. Their worships/skits were a lot of fun. You can tell they enjoyed it. Having my child be able to make new friends and learn some independence is great. |
