NEWS 1) We have about 68 campers this week, which is going to be our smallest session. These children require a little extra attention so we don't mind! 2) We completed our first round of emails for those who requested camper monitoring today. The parents and guardians of 28 children received an email today with a few photos of their campers. Camper monitoring is free and a great way to get updates about your child(ren) while they're at PSR Camp. If you didn't get your update, let me know, we may need to update (or add) your email to our Ultracamp system. 3) We've been keeping parents informed via our notification policy. Because these children are a bit younger, we've been in contact with parents on a wide range of minor issues so far this session. 4) We're still testing our wifi network for Facebook Live, so follow us on Facebook to see a short video every other day this week. AuthorJeremy Cruz is your assistant camp director. He hopes you enjoy these little updates!

We're unable to upload our latest post tonight. Please visit www.facebook.com/PSRCamp for some videos and info from today. Camp Registration (3/6/2017)About 20% of camp is already full for the 2017 season.
AuthorJeremy Cruz In November of 2013, PSR Camp started blogging online at blogspot & that blog was well received by parents, camp staff, and our friends. This year we've decided to expand into short video blogs to help us reach even more people by using youtube and posting on our own website. Camp.Live is the result. We're planning to release a short video each week and this was our first attempt. We hope you enjoy. PSR Camp extended offers of employment to 27 applicants who completed the interview, references (as requested), staff application, and were placed for a position by the hiring team. Most of those offered jobs were former camp employees from previous seasons. Once an offer of employment has been sent, applicants have about 10 days to accept the offer or decline. After that period their job may be offered to another qualified individual. PSR Camp is continuing to schedule interviews and take job application until all positions have been filled. If you didn't receive an offer today, don't worry. Only about 30% of the available positions were offered today and we're still working hard to place staff into the remaining spots. The best advice for new staff is schedule your interview and check with us to see if your references have been submitted. AuthorJeremy Cruz, PSR Camp Assistant Director In order to get people to buy something today, you need to give them a reason. Businesses have all sorts of strategies that revolve around terms like "limited offer", "sale deadline", and "exclusive membership deal," you've probably seen them all. Most people are slightly immune or skeptical about purchasing something in a timeframe that feels forced upon them, but they're also aware of the risk of potentially missing out on a deal for something they plan to buy in the future. So if you're waiting until April 30th to put down a deposit on one of these three sessions or activities; 1) Family Camp 2) Drama A. Drama (Combo, Tween, Teen) B. Creative Arts Intensive (Teen) 3) Media Arts A. Digital Photography (Junior & Combo) B. Short Film (Tween) They're going to be full and waitlist only. If you're not planning to do these classes, you probably have a bit more time to plan, consider, and conference with other parents to determine scheduling. If you want to do drama class for our teen session, make a deposit when registration open on the 12th of January. We'll see you at camp! AuthorJeremy Cruz, PSR Camp Assistant Director
